What materials can I choose from?

Our flat cut metal sign letters are available in:

  1. Aluminum (Alloy 514)
  2. Bronze (Lead-free Navy G)

How tall can flat cut metal letters be?

Cast metal sign elements can be ordered as short as 2 inches and as tall as 64 inches as a single piece.

Letters larger than 95 inches will be delivered as multiple pieces (e.g., 2 pieces to form a single letter).

How thick flat cut metal letters be?

The following thicknesses are available in both aluminum and bronze:

  • 3/8"
  • 1/2"
  • 3/4"
  • 1"
  • 1.25"
  • 1.5"
  • 2"
  • 2.5"
  • 3"

In general, the taller a letter is the thicker it will be and vice versa.

What fonts can I choose from?

You can select one of the 37 standard fonts available on our product pages, or use any font you like by providing us with vector artwork in PDF, AI, or EPS file format.

Please note that there are physical limitations as to what fonts can be created. For example, handwriting fonts can become too narrow and fragile, ultra-small letters can become too delicate, corners can be too sharp, gaps can be too small, etc. This is due to the physical durability of the materials selected, and space constraints of molds, machinery, packaging, and shipping.

What finishes can I choose from?

Finishes vary based on the material you select.

Aluminum sign letters can be brushed, bead blasted, painted, or anodized with a coating that provides greater corrosion resistance, and can color the surface (e.g., gold, bronze, black).

Bronze letters can be brushed, polished, aged (i.e., oxidized), or patinated. Oxidation is available in light, medium, and dark aged finishes. Weathered patinas are available in verde or turquoise.

Yes, we can paint your cast metal letters in any Pantone (PMS) paint color that you choose.

Cast metal letters can be installed inside or outside and are warrantied for life.

How do I install my flat cut metal letters?

The installation process varies based on the mounting option you have selected for your letters (e.g., studs on back, rail mounted, angle brackets).
