Steel Sign Letters & Numbers

Our flat cut metal sign letters are available in:

Flat cut metal sign elements can be ordered as short as 1/2 inch tall up to 95 inches tall as a single piece depending on the metal material and finish.

Letters larger than 95 inches will be delivered as multiple pieces (e.g., 2 pieces to form a single letter).

The following thicknesses are available based on the material you select:

• Aluminum = 1/8, 1/4, 3/8, 1/2, 3/4, and 1 inch thick
• Brass = 1/8, 1/4, 3/8, 1/2, and 3/4 inch thick.
• Bronze = 1/8, 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 inch thick.
• Copper = 1/8, 1/4, and 3/8 inch thick.
• Stainless steel = 1/8, 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 inch thick.
• Cor-Ten Steel = 1/8 and 1/4 inch thick
  

You can select one of the 200+ standard fonts available on our product pages, or use any font you like if you provide us with vector artwork in PDF, AI, or EPS file format.

Please note that there are physical limitations as to what fonts can be created. For example, handwriting fonts can sometimes become too narrow and fragile, ultra-small letters can become too delicate, corners can be too sharp, gaps can be too small, etc. This is due to the physical durability of the materials selected, and space constraints of machines, machinery, packaging, and shipping.

Finishes vary based on the material you select. Each material is available in brushed and polished finishes.

Aluminum sign letters can be anodized with a coating that provides greater corrosion resistance, and can color the surface (e.g., gold, bronze, black).

Bronze, brass, and copper letters are available in light, medium, and dark aged finishes - achieved through oxidization.

Bronze and brass are also available in weathered patinas such as turquoise and verde patinas.

Yes, we can paint your flat cut metal letters in any color you like.  

However, you may want to consider painted flat cut acrylic letters instead because you can usually achieve the exact same look for a lower cost.

Flat cut metal letters can be installed inside or outside and are warrantied for life.

The installation process varies based on the mounting option you have selected for your letters (e.g., double-sided tape, studs on back).
