Mounting Types

Back Stud Mount

1/4" thick or thicker sign elements are drilled and tapped on the back to receive threaded studs. This allows the sign elements to be mounted flush against the wall. 1/8" thick sign elements are too thin to be drilled so blocks are attached to receive the threaded studs, which means the letters will stand out from the wall by about 1/4".     Back Stud Mount

    3/8" thick or thicker sign elements are drilled and tapped on the bottom to receive threaded studs. This allows letters to be installed standing upright on a horizontal surface.

Mounting Guides

Drill Pattern

Our drill patterns are computer-generated tracings of your sign design with mounting hole locations. They are printed on durable, tear-resistant paper that is up to 54 inches tall and as wide as needed for your design. This guide is usually provided for any stud mounted product. It may come in pieces depending on the size of the installation. Installation instructions and a legend are printed in the lower left corner.
