Mounting Types
Double-Sided Tape Mount
Strips of VHB tape are applied to the back of the product. This option is warrantied for interior installation on walls that are smooth, clean, and dry. Heavier letters may require tape and adhesive to properly secure them to a wall. See the Technical Drawing for more details

Mounting Options
-
Back Stud Mount
1/4" thick or thicker sign elements are drilled and tapped on the back to receive threaded studs. 1/8" thick sign elements are too thin to be drilled so blocks are attached to receive the threaded studs.
-
Double-Sided Tape Mount
Strips of VHB tape are applied to the back of the product. This option is warrantied for interior installation on walls that are smooth, clean, and dry.
-
Bottom Stud Mount
3/8" thick or thicker sign elements are drilled and tapped on the bottom to receive threaded studs. This allows letters to be installed standing upright on a horizontal surface.
-
Top Stud Mount
3/8" thick or thicker sign elements are drilled and tapped on the top to receive threaded studs. This allows letters to be installed so they hang vertically from their top.
-
Top & Bottom Stud Mount
3/8" thick or thicker sign elements are drilled and tapped on the top & bottom to receive threaded studs.
-
Bottom Rail Mount
Holes are threaded into the bottom of the letters so they can be screwed to an aluminum rail or c-channel. The rail is attached to the mounting surface so that the letters stand upright. The rail can be painted or anodized.
-
Top Rail Mount
Holes are threaded into the top of the letters so they can be screwed to an aluminum rail or c-channel. The rail is attached to the mounting surface so that the letters hang from their top. The rail can be painted or anodized.
-
Single Back Rail Mount
A flat aluminum rail attached to the back of the letters. This option minimizes the amount of holes drilled into the mounting surface. The rail can be painted or anodized.
-
Double Back Rail Mount
Two flat aluminum rails are attached to the back of the letters. This option minimizes the amount of holes drilled into the mounting surface. The rails can be painted or anodized.
-
Single Back C-Channel Mount
An aluminum c-channel attached to the back of the letters. This option minimizes the amount of holes drilled into the mounting surface. The c-channel can be painted or anodized.
-
Double Back C-Channel Mount
Two aluminum c-channels are attached to the back of the letters. This option minimizes the amount of holes drilled into the mounting surface. The c-channels can be painted or anodized.
-
Bottom Angle Bracket Mount
An aluminum angle bracket is attached to the back of the letters so they can be mounted standing upright on a horizontal surface.

Mounting Guides
Rigid Stencil Guide
A rigid stencil guide is made by cutting out your sign's design from a piece of cardboard. This guide is then taped to the wall and each piece of your sign is set inside its corresponding cutout location to stick it to the wall. Signs with double-faced tape are often mounted using a rigid stencil guide. Depending on the sign's dimensions the guide may come in multiple pieces. Signs larger than 22 x 93 inches will use a rigid split stencil guide which provides a partial cutout of the bottom portion of each sign element.
