Specialized tooled or cast plaques may take 10–18 business days. Note that these times begin after any art layouts are approved.Once manufactured, it typically takes 3-6 business days for an order to ship to its final destination.

We require sized vector files, such as AI, EPS, or PDF. This ensures that your branding remains crisp and professional at any scale. If you are using a custom font, please ensure all text is converted to "outlines" or "curves" before sending the file.If photography is included in your design, please provide the largest and highest DPI file available to you.

Can you match a specific brand color?

Yes. Our team can mix paint formulas from a variety of paint brands at no additional cost to you.  When requesting a quote or order, please include the paint name or number along with the paint brand. Commonly used brands include Matthew’s Paint, Pantone/PMS, Sherwin-Williams, Benjamin Moore, and Dunn Edwards. If you’d like to use a paint brand that is not listed, contact us and we’ll verify formula compatibility.We offer three paint sheens: gloss, satin, or matte. Gloss is the default sheen for any custom paint color.  If you don’t have a paint name or number and need a color match, we offer physical paint matching for an additional cost. A sample of at least 3 inches by 3 inches is required. We match your sample as closely as possible. This color match process may add an additional 2 to 3 weeks to production.

What if my product arrives broken or defective?

All products include a Lifetime Guarantee against fading, chipping, or cracking under normal environmental conditions.Installation Status: The guarantee is valid only if the sign remains installed in its original location.Approved Hardware: The sign must have been installed utilizing the hardware provided we provided with your order.Product-Specific Environments: Certain materials have environmental limitations. Please refer to individual product pages for details. For example:Products that are not explicitly designated as "marine-grade" are excluded from this warranty if installed in a coastal environment (i.e., within 50 miles of a coast).Products that are not suitable for installation outdoors are excluded from this warranty if installed outside. Because every sign is custom-made to order, we cannot accept general returns for a full refund. However, we may be able to reclaim materials for their scrap value. This credit is worth up to 50% of the item’s cost, capped at a maximum of $500.Requirements for Return:You must call (651) 300-3992 to obtain a Return Authorization (RA) Number.The RA Number must be clearly marked on the exterior of the return packaging.The item must be returned to the shipper within 30 days of the original receipt.Non-Refundable Fees: Please note that art charges, crating fees, custom paint matches, shipping costs, and mounting patterns are non-refundable.

When should I select double-sided tape?

We only warranty double-sided tape installations for indoor installations.  It is not suitable for exterior applications.  We recommend installation on flat, smooth interior walls only.

How should I clean and maintain my signs and letters?

To ensure your signage maintains its premium appearance and structural integrity for years to come, regular cleaning is recommended. Always avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive sponges, and high-pressure power washing, as these can permanently damage protective coatings, paints, and finishes.General Cleaning Guidelines: For most signs, simply wiping the surface with a clean, ultra-soft microfiber cloth dampened with a mixture of warm water and a mild, non-abrasive dish soap is sufficient. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and dry immediately with a soft cloth to prevent water spots.Here is more specific advice based on the material and finish of the product.Aluminum & Anodized Aluminum:Painted or Clear-Coated Finishes: Most of our aluminum products are painted or clear coated.  In this case, wipe the surface with a microfiber cloth dampened with warm water and a mild, non-abrasive dish soap. Rinse thoroughly and dry immediately to prevent water spots.Raised Print Finishes: Be gentle around tactile elements. Use a soft-bristled brush or a feather duster to remove dust from crevices. Avoid heavy scrubbing over the raised print to prevent accidental chipping or peeling.Stainless Steel:To remove fingerprints and smudges, use a dedicated stainless steel cleaner or a light application of WD-40. Always wipe in the direction of the metal grain.Marine-Grade 316: While highly corrosion-resistant, marine-grade stainless steel still requires maintenance. Remember, it's stainless steel, not stain impervious steel. If installed in a coastal environment, clean it per the general cleaning guidelines, but also rinse the sign periodically with fresh water to remove salt deposits and prevent surface discoloration (aka., tea staining).Brass, Bronze, & Copper:Clear-Coated / Lacquered Finishes: Clean using only mild soap and water. Never use metal polishes or abrasive cleaners, as these will permanently scratch or strip the protective clear coat lacquer.Raw / Unlacquered Finishes: As "living metals," unlacquered brass, bronze, and copper will naturally oxidize and develop a rich patina over time. To maintain this aged look, simply dust lightly. To remove tarnish and restore the original bright shine, use a premium commercial brass/bronze/copper polish, applying it with a soft cloth in the direction of the grain.Plastic / Acrylic:Standard Finishes: Follow the general cleaning guidelines. For letters under 4" tall, or over 36" tall, please request a custom quote.Letters larger than 95 inches will be delivered as multiple pieces (e.g., 2 pieces to form a single letter).

Aluminum sign letters can be anodized with a  coating that provides greater corrosion resistance, and can color the surface (e.g., gold, light bronze, black).Bronze, brass, and copper letters are available in light, medium, and dark aged finishes - achieved through oxidization.Bronze and brass are also available in weathered patinas such as turquoise and verde patinas.Custom finishes can also be created. Where can solid metal letters be installed?

Solid metal letters can be installed inside or outside and are warrantied for life. We provide mounting options that allow you to mount your letters on walls (i.e., back mounts), hang them overhead (i.e., top mounts), and stand them up on end (i.e., bottom mounts.)Aluminum, brass, bronze, and copper are not intended for coastal or marine environments (within 50 miles of the ocean). For these areas we encourage you to select either Marine-Grade Stainless Steel letters, or one of our Anodized Aluminum letter products in either clear, black, gold, champagne, light bronze, bronze, or dark bronze.

What is anodization?

Anodization is an electrochemical process that creates a protective, thicker layer of aluminum oxide on the surface of aluminum. This process makes the aluminum surface harder, more durable, and resistant to corrosion. It also makes the surface porous, which allows us to color this oxide layer.Anodized aluminum sign letters are a popular choice for outdoor applications for three main reasons:1. Enhanced Durability and Protection: The anodized layer is significantly harder than raw aluminum, providing exceptional resistance to scratches, abrasion, and general wear and tear. This protective layer also makes the letters highly resistant to corrosion, including from harsh environments like salt spray (important for seaside locations) and chemicals.2. Longer Lifespan: Due to the increased hardness and corrosion resistance, anodized aluminum sign letters generally last much longer than unanodized or painted aluminum.3.
